GiGse 2018 speakers respond to the SCOTUS ruling

On May 14 the US Supreme Court declared PASPA unconstitutional. This historical ruling, a big victory in the long-standing battle between the state of New Jersey and the US sports leagues, ushers in a new era of legal sports betting for the United States. While some states are ready, most still need to pass legislation, against a looming scenario of federal framework pushed by the leagues.

GiGse on May 31 – June 1 in Miami is the industry’s first event where this transformative development will be discussed. Sports betting will dominate the agenda with 10 panels dedicated to it. We’ve asked the speakers for their first reaction and available to download here is a collection of their responses on the significance of the ruling for the industry and their business; on the next steps various stakeholders, including legislators, will be taking; on the possible positioning now by the leagues and on the hurdles they anticipate in the most immediate future.
